RESERVATION AND BOOKING POLICY
Booking Details:
Once the charter has been booked you’ll receive a confirmation email from SaltyAnchorCharters@gamil.com. Keep a look-out for follow-up emails leading up to your charter trip date. We will keep in touch with you via email and notify you via email if your charter trip has any problems, delays or inclement weather.
Please reach out to us at 850-398-1712 between M-F 8am – 5pm with any concerns or questions you may have about your trip. Also, be sure to view our FAQ page to see if that can help. Meet at the attached to_____________________________ on the day of your trip.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to departure in the morning and please call at lunch. Traffic can be horrible on Hwy 98 during peak times such as lunch thru dinner times. Rainy days expect 1-2hrs in traffic during peak times during the day!
Departure Details:
Charters are available year round. Departures are offered daily 6am-1pm based on availability. Please call 850-398-1712 or Go Here for current schedule and pricing. It is best to reserve your charter at least 14 days in advance to avoid sellouts.
Duration: Half Days(4-5 Hrs), 3/4 Days (6-7 Hrs) and/or Full Days(8-12 Hrs):
- Half Days Range From 4 Hours to 5 Hours
- ¾ Days Range From 6 Hours to 7 Hours
- Full Days Range From 8 Hours to 12 Hours
Parking:
Public parking is available at the park during the summer (Memorial Day to Labor Day).
What Is Included:
- Frozen Bait, Rods/Reels, Terminal Tackle and Ice.
- Florida Charter Boat State Fishing license
- Experienced USCG licensed captain/guide
- All safety equipment under US Coast Guard, uninspected passenger vessel (6 pack).
- Fuel (gas or diesel)
- Insurance
- Fish Cleaning
Exclusions:
- Live Bait (purchased)
- Gratuities (20%-25%) to cover the captains cost your charter.
- Drinks and snacks
Restrictions:
- Must be at least 18 to reserve this charter.
- This activity is not recommended for pregnant women.
- The boats are US Coast Guard approved for 6 passengers maximum and 1 crew
Additional Information:
- Customers are asked to bring a hat, sunblock (lotion only no spray), food and beverages, sunglasses and camera. Do not bring a cooler because the captain has one on board for customers to put their food and beverages in.
- There is a portable toilet on board the boats we own for emergencies. So if this is very important to you please call ahead and make sure your charter boat has a portable toilet on board, thank you.
- Customers will be fishing on a Center Console Boats 25’ with outboard engines.
- The captain will fillet, clean and bag any legal fish that the customer catches on the trip. Please tip appropriately for all the hard work that is done on the trip.
- There are no guarantees that the customer will catch the target species, but the captain has a very high success rate in finding and catching certain species.
- Glass bottles are prohibited on the boat
- Trips stay in the bay/pass or near shore within nine (9) Nautical miles in Florida State waters as per the Natural Resources Boundary (state waters).
- Federal waters are outside the Natural Resources Boundary which exceeds 9nm from the shoreline.
- Absolutely no GPS devices from customers will be allowed on the boat.

- What you can expect to catch (depending on the season) is Sheepshead, Red Drum(Redfish), Black Drum, Spotted Seatrout, Skip Jack, Bluefish, Flounder, Spanish Mackerel, Red Snapper, Gag Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Red Grouper, Triggerfish, Greater Amberjack, Lesser & Banded Rubberfish, Vermillion Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, Red Porgey, White Snapper, Blacktip Sharks, Bull Sharks, Spinner Sharks, Cobia, King Mackerel, Bonita, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi(Dolphinfish), Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Tripletail, Pompano, Jack Crevalle, and much more!
Cancellation Policy:
- Customer must cancel at least 72 hours prior to their arrival date to receive a full refund.
- Customers that cancel after the 72 hour period will not be refunded unless the captain has to call off the trip due to inclement weather at the time of the scheduled departure. In this case, another day will be scheduled. Customer may make changes to the reservation without any fees as long as it’s outside the 72 hour cancellation period.
- NO refunds or rain checks once the 72 hour cancellation policy has expired and/or the boat has departed the dock/slip. We do not pro-rate.
- If it rains, charters will still go out fishing. However, if there is excessive fog, wind, or lightning, the trip will not go.
- Trips are always decided based on the captain’s discretion at the time of departure, not based on the prior weather forecast.
- Once the boat has departed the dock and/or slip NO refunds or “rain checks” will be credited.
- All “no shows” on the day of the charter will be charged in full and NO refunds and/or “rain checks” will be credited.
- If a storm pops up we will come back to the dock and get under cover to wait out the short summer time storms. People can then go to the restroom and stretch their legs. After the storm settles we will head back out so no time is lost until the trip is completed.
